Backbone

Modern web and mobile applications are required to have richer interactions and performance. Coping with these requirements necessitates moving more functionality to the client. Backbone is a structural JavaScript framework that provides sensible abstractions for modeling complex interactions in the browser. In this presentation we'll learn about Backbone's model system, client-side routing, collections, views, and more.

Hello Everyone -
Direct Supply has been graciously hosting and sponsoring our group for well over a year now, and we are very appreicative. Due to a variety of reasons that have asked that all guests not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to the meeting. If you are coming to the Architecture SIG before hand, this especially applies to you. It is disruptive to have many people there early while people are still working. They have also asked that I announce that they will be closing the gates at 7:30 PM as well so that their security staff can go on about their regular business, so please be there before that or you may not be able to get into the building.
Also, I wanted to remind you that Direct Supply has always been very accomodating to our group. It goes without saying that we should remember to show their staff and property the highest respect. They don't have to host us, but they choose to. Please keep that in mind while you are on their campus.
