The Wisconsin .NET User Group was founded on February 12, 2002 at the launch of Visual Studio.NET. Our mission from inception has been to develop a peer group of developers, architects, and managers who are interested in learning, sharing and growing their Microsoft .NET knowledge and capabilities. The group's vision is to provide members with a forum to hear top industry experts speak, learn and teach others who are interested in the same technologies as you and are facing the same challenges. The Wisconsin .Net User Group covers the entire spectrum of .NET technologies, including the Windows Server System, XML web services, application development with Visual Studio.NET and the .NET Framework (including web, mobile, and desktop applications.)
We are proud to now have over + members and we have continued to grow stronger each month due to the well-known .NET expert speakers we bring each month, the support of our growing list of sponsors, and the input and interest of each of our members. Come join the .NET community - It's FREE - It's FUN - It's a great way to learn more about .NET!
The WI .NET Users Group respects your privacy. We will not give, sell, rent or lease your personal information to any third parties, including our sponsors.
All delegates, speakers, sponsors and organizers of Wisconsin .NET User Group are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code for all meetups.
Wisconsin .NET User Group is dedicated to providing a harassmentfree meetup experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks. Meetup participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the meetup at the discretion of the meetup organizers.
Wisconsin .NET User Group assume that most people are intelligent and wellintended, and we're not inclined to tell people what to do. However, recent events indicate that sometimes it's necessary to spell out the behavior we support and discourage at our Meetup. The core of our approach is this: we will do whatever we believe is necessary to ensure that Wisconsin .NET User Group members, speakers, and guests will have a fun, safe and productive environment. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the meetup organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the meetup.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a Wisconsin .NET User Group organizer immediately.
Meetup organizers will be happy to help participants contact local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the Meetup. We value your attendance.
We expect participants to follow these rules at all meetups and meetup social events. Please bring any concerns to the immediate attention of the organizers. We thank our members for their help in keeping the meetup welcoming, respectful, and friendly to all participants.
